Our Story
About the Forum
China Education Forum at Oxford is a non-profit, student-led, interdisciplinary platform dedicated to thoughtful discussion of education in China and its broader significance in a rapidly changing world.
The Forum creates space for dialogue across disciplines, bringing together students, scholars, practitioners, and policy thinkers interested in education policy, social mobility, family and schooling, higher education, international student mobility, educational inequality, and the relationship between education, society, and technological change.
At a time of rapid transformation in artificial intelligence, digital platforms, and educational technology, the Forum seeks to examine how these changes are reshaping education in China and beyond. Through public discussion, academic exchange, and community-building, we hope to contribute to Oxford's intellectual and cultural life while fostering a deeper understanding of one of the world's most important educational contexts.
